Come to a Petroglyph Party!
1 June 2007

petroglyphs event

You are invited on June 1, 2007 from 5 to 7 pm to the Opening Reception of an exhibition of photographs by Kathy Chilton and the inauguration of a new poster for the Petroglyph National Monument at the Open Space Visitor Center.

This exhibit will be available to visitors from June 1 through June 11, 2007 at the fine, new Center which is located at 6500 Coors NW, east of Coors between Montano and Paseo del Norte NW.

The images are of some of the petroglyphs and of many of the living surprises to be found in the interstices. All are invited to explore the petroglyphs through this exhibit. The Petroglyph National Monument is cooperatively managed by the National Park Service and the City of Albuquerque. The area is a rich cultural, natural, and spiritual treasure on Albuquerque's west side.
